I m starting to think that this might really be it, this is like the 3rd leak I ve seen and all the same one. If it is true then Im indifferent, there are angles that make it look very appealing, but when I see the front i m like so so; and the back is pretty horrid. Its almost as if they just got to the rear and said F it.

I'm conflicted, this is definitely the car but for the first time in my lifetime i don't like the look of the new Mustang over the previous one. I grew up during the foxbody years and my favorite was the last gen 1987-93 style. This continued with the reveal of the 1994, 1999, 2005, 2010... this time I have to say this is not as good looking as the current car. My biggest problem is the front end has not grown on me. I felt this way since the 2013 refresh I wish it had the look of the 2010-12 car. The profile is fine and even the back is ok but my favorite part of the S197 was the front end and they completely changed it.
This car looks like a mix of the 2014 Mustang, Mazda6 and Accord Coupe in my estimation...

I'll put it this way, I'll be holding onto my current 06 GT and just leave it at that

I personally was holding out to see what it looked like but I think I'm going to buy a 2007-09 GT500 for my next Mustang. It may not be the best but to me it sure does look the best.

I wonder why they got rid of the blind spot mirrors?
Looks good not great. Was really hoping for a bigger jump. 04-05ish.
I think car and drivers baby Aston rear looks better.
Ford just mixed '12 SMS with a little 05 and called it a day. Oh well.

To be fair, Ford is damned if they do, damned if they don't. They could make a car that essentially looks like a refreshed S197 and people will say it doesn't look different enough and they could make a car that looks totally new and people will say it doesn't look like a "Mustang".
That said, I feel like, aesthetically, this S550 is more of a lateral move from the S197. While it looks better in some ways and worse in others, overall I feel it looks neither better or worse as a whole. I will say that the more I look at it, the more I feel the rear just looks odd. I don't get why this seems to be such a recurring issue for the Mustang for the past 10 years.
