Sound damper material
Has anyone added sound damper material? If yes please tell us all about it pictures and all if you have any. Any special tools? Interior road wasn't to bad on my recent 1700 mile trip but it could be a little quieter in there for me. I did do my 06 and was really happy with the results for sure. I did the trunk, rear quarter panels, floor pans, and roof.

The tire noise is the biggest contribution factor followed by the exhaust. The factory has installed rear wheel acoustic fender liners trying to muffle the roar. New tires will give you a more quiet ride for a while. Then take it to the next level as was done on your 06 using the various acoustic layments on the market. I have seen folks use roofing ice damp stick on material to deaden the noise which can be found at the home centers. Not sure how it works but the price is right!
