'16 GT Chassis Sound Proofing
I am looking for information on sound proofing of the chassis. I enjoy the sound of car/ engine/ upgraded exhaust in town. Yet on 1,000. mile highway trips on sometimes poor roads I could use a quieter cabin.
I Purchased and applied soundproof material to the interior floor, with minimal reduction of road noise. ( Silver foil faced with a flexible rubber like backing that self adheres to floor)
I do plan on using a professional installer. So, a product reference, type of material, application reference or company would be helpful. Any area of focus (wheel wells?) . More importantly if any "what not" to dos would be welcome, like keep product off of ,..drive line components. Any warranty implications, drain holes or paths to avoid? Thanks

I did my floor boards, trunk and as far into the 1/4 panels as I could reach, I also did the roof. very happy with the results. I used the same stuff you did. The silver foil faced stuff.
