WOW! Not that I didn't like it in the photos, but in person. WOW!

 

I don't know why the photo is upside down.

 

My local dealership just got a black 5.0 with black wheels. The car looks ridiculously nice in person, waaaaaaaaaay better than the 13 GT on the lot! My buddy that's with me said it makes the 13 look old. Of course I cannot upload pics from my phone to TMS!

 

There's still a lot of us old folks out here that don't like black wheels (hate 'em!). Only choice in the staggered setup is black.

 

Not sure if 30 years old is well old lol but I've never been a fan of black wheels either.

 

5.0 badge is crooked. Yes I have a trained eye.

 

I only like black wheels on a lighter colored car. Like I think they look good on the silver one above. They can look ok on a black car too, but any non-black dark colors - that doesn't work for me.
Which sucks because I want the PP but I'm really wanting Guard or Magnetic. I guess I just have to wait to see those combos in person.

 

I do not like black wheels either, so...I am having them powder coated(Sterling Charcoal Gunmetal) before I take final delivery of my car...the custom shop I am using will add a 25% tint while they wait for the wheels to get back, as well...I am litterally chomping the bit on this one.
I am like a 5 year old, waiting for Christmas morning...Like a dog who hasnt eaten all day, waiting for dinner...Like, well you get it...

 

What color car are you getting?

 

I'm also not a fan of black wheels. They make the tires look so much smaller. Polished or silver wheels on that silver car would look good.

 

Yeah I agree the black wheels don't do anything for me its as if they aren't there. Ordered the 401a with 50 year package and going to do the suspension upgrades myself.
