I stopped by my dealer this week and took a peek at the GT350R front and center on the show floor. All I can say is WOW! Now THAT is a car The dealer has it 20k over MSRP for a total of 78k. They say they have been offered 85k for it from a TX dealer, and they don't think that's the last offer they will see. I must say the brake rotors look absolutely insane, and I love the carbon fiber "mud flaps" in back! It is all black, and looks completely ready to commit heinous acts with no further encouragement needed. If I could spare the money, I would put it in a sealed garage, for future generations to uncover. My wife asked if I thought the dealer would let her take it for a spin- I said: I don't think so, but go ask if you want. The dealer just laughed.

I have seen 2 GT350's here where I live. Both times the wife and I were out riding bikes. They both sounded freakin' awesome.

 

I let my son drive mine around town, his 2 comments were "It feels a lot like my WRX with twice the power" and "You know when you are driving this car, you have an ear to ear grin on your face". He's right on both counts, now that I think of it. But you really haven't driven a car quite like it. The total package is awesome.
