Some good ideas so far. I really want to see Forest Green that has the same type of effect as the current Deep Impact Blue. I also vote for the return of Sunset Gold and kindly request tangerine pearl in limited colors of course!

That color would be way to cool

Every time i look at this i keep seeing the accord windows, just a shade sexier. And that not necessarily an in sult to the render cuz i really like how the accord coupe looks. Very sharp. The roofline could extend a touch further to really pull off the fastback look though.

Another though is what if they were to make a hatch in order to raise its popularity and practicality especially to the euro crowd. It would appeal to the younger generation as well since havin room to toss our junk into is actually a big plus. (Im with the young crowd) although havin a normal trunk is perfectly fine with me and fits more with Mustang design

I'm with ya. I am not of the younger crowd anymore, but would love a hatch for utility purposes. Unfortunately when Peabody was hanging around, he mentioned that there wasn't going to be a hatch.:bad:

Sunflower Yellow

That's like Screaming Yellow but with just a tad more red in it, so it's a bit deeper.

And please do not repeat that nail polish yellow from 2011.

When I see an Accord Coupe the cars I think of are BMW 3/4 Coupes, and Mercedes C-350 Coupes, because they share a lot of similar design traits. But looking at Chaz's rendering I dont get that at all. The Accord, BMW3/4 and C-350 all have taller Greenhouses with Much Larger, More Elongated Quarter Windows.

When I see Chaz's render or think about the Greenhouse of the 2015/S550 Mustang I think more Aston Martin DB-9 than any of those 3 above.

As for the Hatch, I seriously wish the 2015 was a Hatch. I've said it before, it would make it more Versatile and Useful and would improve it's credibility around the world, where Hatches are More Desirable. Sadly I think it will not be a Hatch.

Also not a hot seller....

I'm thinking a darker bronze-gold would be good for the 50th anniversary feature color. It would look good with both charcoal/black and parchment/tan interior and 'vert top colors, and tie in with the current trend toward earth tones.

I'm also thinking a two-tone parchment and bronze pony interior on a limited edition 50th model similar to the two-tone pony interior available on the '66s.

I have given up hoping for Emberglo, the best car color ever IMHO. As I've said before in other posts, I think Emberglo really needs a '60s amount of chrome (bumpers, rocker panels, etc.) along with it to set it off. I don't see that happening again anytime soon.

I'm right there with you on black. It isn't just a paint color, it's a second job to keep it looking decent!

No hatch and no pass through both make the car structure weaker and therefore heavier to regain the needed strength.

GrnT 12/4/13 11:09 AM

Legend Lime.

MELLOWYELLOW06 12/4/13 11:34 AM

SCREAMING YELLOW

SynisterGT 12/4/13 08:30 PM

We get Comp Orange! Hell Yeah!

Ice Hawk 12/4/13 09:44 PM

YELLOW!!!! I thin this means it's FINALLY true?

"• New colors to address owner requests, including Triple Yellow (literally painted three times, instead of one or two, to eliminate the "dirty" look of gray primer that yellow has trouble hiding).

"There's actually a Yellow Mustang Club, and boy, do we hear from them when we don't offer a yellow," says Susan Lampinen, the chief designer in charge of color"

Quoted from USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...ngines/3820457)

Lord, please let this be a REAL yellow, not AMBER, ORANGE, GOLD, MUSTARD or anything in between. Hint - Screaming Yellow was the last REAL yellow.

Overboost 12/4/13 11:21 PM

Added the official color list to the first post.

SO many ideas

Both some kind of a Tri coat Yellow AND Tri coat pearl (just like my 13 F 150), I'd love to see ! I also think these specialty colors should only be offered one model year. Example, I don't like the fact GHIG was produced for 13 & 14. Scott :D

SynisterGT 12/5/13 07:56 AM

If I get one, I am 90% toward CO. They add the one other color I want in tri coat yellow. Oh well. Haha

CiniZter 12/5/13 08:45 AM

tri yellow looks cool in the customizer...
