What colors do you want to see on the 2015 Mustang?

Blue:
- Steel or dark gray/blue

- think lava red but with green

- like the aston shot colour that was in a couple threads

I'd like to see Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, and White Platinum on the 2015. Perhaps a metallic/tri-coat variant of Screaming Yellow, or an orange/bronze color as well.

I would want a really dark orange kinda like lava red but orange with super small silver flakes.

I would like a nice deep Purple metallic. NOT the Mopar grape color but something deeper that you can get lost in.

Think I posted this before a long while back, but I don't think the Tuxedo Black would 'work' with the Mustang. All personal preference of course, but to my eye it looks good on the Taurus (when clean) but not so much on the Fusion or Escape. Didn't care for the sparkly black on the Camaro either.

I had the LavaRed, which was 'mysterious' enough to be an interesting color... but I'm not sure it was a GOOD color for the Mustang. Too much 'busy' in the paint detracts from the design in my opinion.

Some of the Roush custom paints are pretty impressive. I liked my Yellow Blaze, but was always nervous about scratches and dings and getting the repair to match. So I'd like some regular colors of Highland Green, a blue like Sonic Blue or the older True Blue. Silver, dark grey just a bit darker than sterling would be good as well. I wanted Sterling grey but it wasn't available for the month I ordered my car in '11.

Dark Hyland Green - BULLITT!

I agree with a darker green metallic but not as dark as Dark Highland Green. It shouldn't be so dark that it looks black in dim lighting. I would also love to see a metallic somewhere in the gold/bronze/copper family. Ford has a new metallic copper color called Sunset that is available on several 2014 models and I think it looks pretty good. Finally, I really liked the Mediterranean Blue color that Ford offered on a handful of 2012 models (or was it 2011).

Guardsman Blue is sexy.

School bus yellow on all models would be cool. I just want to see that color more, it's so darn beautiful.

Steel Blue, Windveil Blue or Ice Blue. Onyx Green (Chrysler color from about 2000).
Metallic Orange

Blue. Deep Impact, Kona, either will do. Or even a new shade, but it has to be dark.
Green. Deep Forrest for that, as I can't stand Gotta Have It.
Red. Lava, or a deep wine shade.
White. Performance White is fine.
Black. Can't go wrong with black, as long as you have a garage.
Anything else, I wouldn't have any interest in.

Light medium blue! My 1980 hatch was light medium blue and was awesome. Man I loved that car!

I'd love to see Ford offer Mediteranean Blue on the S550 Mustang. It looked great on the Ford Flex, IMO....

Black Mica is basically the same as Tuxedo Black. The metallic might be slightly different, but it's hard to tell side by side.

Meh. Directly related to the colors offered, not really the trends. Red will sell no matter what. While race red is my favorite.

I really don't want to see it on any future cars simply because it's an eyesore :)

I think it would be a nice color to reveal the 2015 in being the "golden" anniversary and all. A nice bright gold color as well, not the dull washed out near beige that some automakers pass off as "gold". I tire of seeing reveals in silver, black or red. Here's to hoping for a nice bright high impact color on the reveal.

And even if they don't, I hope they offer it for the 2015 model year. I think it would be cool. Maybe even as a 50th anniversary package. Just a thought. :)

I think they should offer a few of the colors offered in '65. That would be something to see. A modern car with 60's paint. I think It'd be cool anyway.

That's the point.

Make one gaudy, over the top, stupidly excessive paint color. I wouldn't buy it, but if it's done right it could be really popular with some crowds.


I figure the best would either be that silly looking prismatic gold or taking the kona blue/purple effect to the extreme.

Mmm, yummy color. Always liked it. Maybe a touch brighter though and more like actual gold. It wouldn't have to be a big seller either, just revealed in that color and offered as an option or on a 50th Anniversary package. I think it would make for a fitting and memorable reveal other than the usual silver or black or red reveals that EVERY automaker pushes out. Go gold Ford on the reveal. ;)

Reverse it, go gold with a black stripe and matching black wheels. It would be sharp. ;)

Gold Mystic was supposed to be a colour, but was never used.

I'm digging that color. I'm done with black, seriously so hard to keep clean and nice looking, don't get my wrong when it is clean they are hot cars but... just a pain. Going for a bright color next.

Not feeling that on a Mustang. Looks close to the Dodge Furious Fuchsia, which I think looks awesome on a Challenger... but not much else. If anything.

Karat Gold will be out next year on the Escape...maybe Mustang?

I vote the return of Mineral Grey, Bright Atlantic Blue, Zinc Yellow and Oxford White.

Some good ideas so far. I really want to see Forest Green that has the same type of effect as the current Deep Impact Blue. I also vote for the return of Sunset Gold and kindly request tangerine pearl in limited colors of course!
