Well been itching to get back into an S550. About 7 months ago kid hit me head on and totaled out my Metallic Guard GT/PP car so after it was all said and done I took the plunge and traded in the GT500 which had been my faithful ride since 2009 and sat for only a brief time.

So here is the replacement in the same color scheme as the GT500

 

Very nice and congrats she's a beauty. I don't get the No Cobra license plate though? It is a Shelby GT350 which is a Cobra.

Technically, not all Shelbys bear the "Cobra" tag, even though they all bite like hell.

 

Perhaps what Bob meant Gary, is the Shelby GT350 just as the previous GT500 didn't have Cobra letter badges, where as the 1st generation 67-71 models did.. Then SVT later came out with the Mustang/Cobra from 93-04..

Anyway, this is just a guess on my part

Hah, really a running joke I have with a buddy of mine.

Your at a C&C or car show and somebody walks up and says "Man what an awesome cobra!"

To which I generally reply, "It's not a Cobra, it's a Shelby"

Told him I was gonna "No Cobra" on a plate.

The best part I've seen people argue over the plate and is it a Shelby or a Cobra.
