Redline Interior Pics

The Redline Interior first seen at the Beijing Auto Show and Mentioned in the Order Guide (Code 54 for Premier Trim, Code S4 for Recaros) has been confirmed as Red Leather Seating Surfaces with Red Door Panel Inserts, and Red Stitching on the IP Brows and Steering Wheel, for the 54 Option. The Recaros, (S4) are still expected to be Black Leather with Red Stitching Only.

Not a fan of the whole seat in red, but the stitching would be awesome!

Yeah the al lred seating surface is a bit much imo. I do like the door panel accents and red stitching throughout (maybe take a page from the new baby AMG an throw in some red eat belts) would have been sweet.

That's as gaudy as the saddle interior mixed with what looks like a black/charcoal seat side/back and interior panels.

Curious as the the interior premium trim-ebony would be.
It's black... or is it 2-toned black.

Too bad they didn't have just stitch colour alone for Redline and maybe something like blue line.

Yeah, some contrasting panels and stitching would up the sophistication level -- that and perhaps a slightly deeper, richer shade of red rather than this shade modeled after a 1950's diner's vinyl booth seats.

I wish you hadn't brought up the 50's diner vinyl booth seats. It gave me a twinge of nostalgia. Wait; my mistake it was just gas.

I agree that contrasting stitching can add a little something to the interior look. I have always liked the black seats with red stitching in my Speed3.

I have red seats in my black 2007 GT and have to say the red seats and red door inserts sure do look sharp. You have to see in person how well red seats can look in a car with a black interior. Simply gorgeous.

WTF....are they planning on selling these in China also? Otherwise why would they take it to the Beijing auto show? I have friends in China and they have never heard of a Mustang until I show them pics of mine. Not sold in China now obviously.

I had heard that they were going for the European Market, but I never heard the Global market. I can just see a Mustang driving around the crazy mess that is China roads. Sheese! They don't exactly have the best roads over there, and I do mean the big cities like Beijing.

I think the redline looks great. Put that in an Oxford White, Black, or Deep Impact Blue, and you would have a real beauty. I know not all will agree, but that's why they offer options.

I love the red interior choice. My favorite combo is Black exterior, red interior and glass roof (Which sadly isn't available this time). Wonder if there will be aftermarket glass roof available.

I would also add silver as a color it would look great with.

Not a combo I would ever choose. I am old enough to remember when they put blue interiors in blue cars, green in green and red in red. It was always something I didn't care for.

Hi Laserred, thanks for providing the link. I wanted redline interior. The choice for the exterior with this interior is limited to conventional colors...I have to go with the one that I thought will go well since if i go with white, than there is white interior, black top, red interior and combination of black elsewhere....so too many colors.

With red interior and red exterior, the only other color that is in the car is black (for most part)...so its not going to be multi-color....

rodriguez,

the black exterior looked great in the past, but now so many sporty colors around us that black does not look sporty at all (again its my personal thinking).

black looks great in sedans, in vans, in many other automotives....but sports car needs to be sporty, green, yellow, orange, red and so onnnnn
