Rear view camera

Anyone else's rear view camera get some water in it? Mine seems to have even though it's only been out in the rain twice.

Hey jonser,

Please make an appointment with your Ford Dealer for diagnosis as soon as possible. Also, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll forward this to the customer service manager for your area and get it addressed.

No more water in the camera

So there doesn't seem to be any water in the camera any more but the view still seems weird. I don't recall the bottom part being blurry and showing the horse on the trunk door. But maybe I just don't remember it. Is this what your back up image looks like>

On another note....I hate that when it rains the view from the camera is totally useless at night. My last two Explorers with the rear view camera the picture was way better. Even during the day it seems washed out. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have no issues using the camera day or night when it is raining.

Have you tried cleaning the camera's lens? It could be just dirty.
