Picked up a Comp Orange Eco over the weekend!
Traded the fiancee's 2012 6'er, with 133k miles on the clock, for a 2015 Comp Orange Ecoboot 6M this past Saturday.
Long story, short.. She found 'the' one all the way out by her parents place 4.5 hrs away. She then convinced me to tow her 6'er 4.5hrs out to the dealership and tow the Eco back home. Her excuses were a better 'break-in' for the Eco by avoiding the long, steady hwy drive home & so our 5' 5" 12yr old son wouldn't be stuck in the back of a stang for the entire trip.
Anyway, pics:
Just pulling the in-law's house after picking her up.

Took it out for some 'break-in' miles on the back mountain roads around their place.

Loaded up Sat night for the ride home.

About halfway home yesterday.

Congrats on the purchase! She's definitely looking good.
Any plans yet?

She must not be planning on putting 133K miles on this one if your are trailering it! Congratulations!

I was 'convinced' to trailer her 6'er the 4+ hours there and the new one home for the following reasons:
1) it's not good to break a new engine in over a long, steady hwy drive
2) our 12yr old son would not fair well in the backseat of a Mustang for 4+ hours each way...
She basically turned it into an excuse to stay at the future inlaws for the weekend..
Oh 'we' did. Drove it back to her folks place and then proceeded to put about 150 'break-in' miles on the mountainous back roads of PA. After that we loaded her up for the tow home.
I'm sure it will, but with a wedding / honeymoon coming up, not sure the $$$$ will be there this year for that.
