Maybe 2016-17 however I don't think I'll wait that long though!

Don't hold your breath. If Ford used KB for their 50th Edition, don't ever expect to see it come back as a regular color. Just like you'll never see DHG, Crimson Red or SBY on a regular production Mustang again...

Thinking I can buy it in white & just have it painted Kona! I'm wondering if Ford or anyone could source the paint?

Paint (KB) shouldn't be a problem. I'd get it in DIB, then paint it KB.

I'd get it in black so the engine bay is black.

Oh and the answer to your question is NO! If they bring back a blue it will be sonic blue! :-) :-)

If that's true then maybe I'll have to keep my 11 Kona!

Not sure why but the 50th wheels look so much better. I don't hate the PP wheels but I sure don't love them. The 20s are really good but looks a bit out of place. I think poor wheel choices for the 2015 unfortunately.

Just my take on it.

Great colors though. Fantastic.

Agree. I love the 50th wheels. They're perfect.

Doubt that.
Kona is a regular production colour that really has no tie. I'm surprised to see it as an anniversary colour to be honest.

DHG was a Bullitt only from the start, Crimson was a 40th only.
If there was one, I'd guess Wimbledon will be the 'not seen for a while colour'

I don't think I've posted my pictures of the CO Ecoboost PP. I saw and sat in this car at a car show a few weeks back. In person this car just looks amazing. I really can't wait to see more of these on the street.

And I have a few more pictures scattered through the album if you're curious: https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXSoHnA

You would know better than I haha, but DHG pre-2001 hadn't been used in what, 40 years? But back then it was a normal color too, even used on late model F-Series - that doesn't mean Ford would offer it as a standard color on a Mustang. Same with Crimson Red - Anniversary color only on a Mustang, never offered on another Mustang. I can see Ford retiring Kona Blue as a SE color moving forward...Wimbledon White for sure won't be available again.

Sorry I should have rephrased about DHG. Brain to keyboard didn't come across.

I meant it was brought back specifically for the SE and was said not to be used otherwise. I know it was a colour back in the day.

Kona was recently used as a regular colour in the line-up.
And it looks fantastic on this car. I don't think they'll retire it.

I'll agree Kona does look really good on the new ones...guess we'll see. I wouldn't mind a 2016 Kona GT350....

I'm curious to see if the old FR500 replicas come back into style. I think they would look great as a 19" on the new car. The aftermarket is ready I'm sure. Forgeline should be on the ball.
