Paddle Shifter?

Any reviews on the paddle shifter yet? Any users have that in theirs and care to share how you like it?

I have them. Used them once. This is my first auto so I'm enjoying the stomp and go method and still catch my left foot on the imaginary clutch. Ha. They are ok, I don't really have anything to compare them to so I'm not sure. The responsiveness is good though.

I had them in My 2013 SHO and used them for driving in the hills around here and in the mountains in Colorado. They work well, but...Ford does not do Rev Matching with them as other manufacturers do.

I currently have them on the 2015 Mustang, but I just picked her up yesterday and it snowed today! I spent the day detailing her in the garage. If you like shifting a manual this is a suitable substitute for spirited driving, if you have knee damage as I do. The SHO was my first auto in 50 years. Don't bother using them in traffic, just let it shift on it's own.

I tried paddles on my buddies Lexus ISF... didn't like it too much for a lot of reasons but I'm sure it'd be fun now and then to use if you're used to the car.

I have a V6 Auto as a loaner while mine is being worked on (details in a forthcoming post), and I tried the paddle shifters. They do what they say they'll do without much fuss, but I wasn't a fan of the overall placement or feel. They don't have much weight, so they're very easy to shift up or down accidentally. I am sure with more use, that would not be an issue.

If my actual car was the auto with the paddle shifters, I don't think I'd use them much if at all.
