NEW PICS/VIDEO...Aug 1st
This is my stake on what's happening w/ this mules...
I think they're using some s197 parts to hide even more the real shape of the s550 Mustang. As you can see here, they kind still using the current GT500 front -posibly 2010 parts- as its evident in the round lower foglights, splitter and old halogen headlights. Because the camo cuts the old headlights assembly in a rectangular shape, they appear to be sleekier or smaller but I think they aren't.

2010 GT500 for comparison:

On the interior, the mules interior are pretty close to the current Mustang (shape wise: dome, doors jams, etc). Even the seats looks very similar (standard seats, no Recaros).

s197:

Also, I believe they're using inspired parts out of the Need for Speed Mustang (or vicerversa) like the shape of the door and the rear bumper lower skirts...
N4S Mustang:

I'm just hypothesizing as they were in Flagstaff, AZ testing that same day.

I've been to Flagstaff a couple of times when I was FAR younger. Beautiful country. Not true "desert" like Jalopnik says. Its up near the San Francisco peaks I believe in the northern part of the state. High elevation hence high altitude testing. Not too many cities in that area so Flagstaff is a pretty safe bet.
UPDATE:
And there is this...

Looks like the same place, just taken from a different angle. Internet is an amazing place sometimes.

You have way too much time on your hands.
hehe
I wouldn't put much faith in ANYTHING you THINK you see.
That camo is a padded bra underneath a bubble wrap bungeed overtop a shower curtain...

Ya, I'll bet those guys go back to their hotel rooms at night and have a good laugh at these forums...
(I just hope its not the normal disappointment you get when you find out what's under a padded bra)

Hey, it's possible that even those drivers haven't seen one fully unwrapped.
