New colors for the MY 2017
Three new colors for the 2017 MY Mustang.
Grabber Blue, Lightning Blue and White Platinum Metallic.

Is that all they are changing is the colors? I'm waiting for the 2017 to come out so I can upgrade to a 5.0. If that's all they are changing I may get a better deal on a 2016.

I'm not sure what changes there are to the actual car, but they are dropping those 3 colors I mentioned above and adding the new colors.

Let me "rephrase". lol
Ford is dropping Guard Green, Competition Orange and Deep Impact Blue on the Mustang for the new colors; Lightning Blue, Grabber Blue and White Platinum Metallic.
Too bad. I think the CO and the DIB look killer on the S550 body style.

Ah, it makes sense now. I liked the CO. The guard green looked to much like grey. Never been a big fan of DIB but I have not seen it yet in person out in the wild. I've seen all of the other colors except for CO. Saw one on the dealer lot last year. It was PP. I was in love.
I like the grabber blue, curious to see how it will look on the s550. Lightning blue sounds interesting as does the WPM, even though I'm not a fan of white.
I think a deeper darker green would look good on this body style. I'm still jonesing for purple. It could be a special order color. lol

That sucks, I think Guard is the best color they offer on this car.

I like the almost all the colors on the S550 cars. That body style really grew on me!
I saw some photos of the GG in the sunlight and it looks great! I didn't like it at first, but it's not that bad.

Mustang needs a proper dark metallic green, and I hope they're saving it for a future Bullitt.
But more importantly, forget this pearl white crap. Bring back Wimbledon White as a standard production color.

I disliked Guard until I saw it up close and personal. On-line color charts do not do that color justice at all.

So I went and looked them up...
Grabber Blue
Shadow Black
Triple Yellow
Magnetic Grey
Lightning Blue
Race Red
Ruby Red
White Platinum
Ingot Silver
Oxford White
So, arranged in orders of colors we have:
Black
Gray
Silver
Blue
Blue
Red
Red
Yellow
White
White
Total yawn fest of color diversity. Especially considering the Oscar uproar on inclusion.
Where's the orange? The green? The purple? Copper, Gold?
And of course, these exciting interior colors:
Ebony
Ceramic (Grey)
Dark Saddle (Tan)
Redline (Red) (Premium/Premier with color accent)
And some stitching colors here and there.
Very disappointing, to be honest, although there are red seats, so that's nice.
