This is definitely great news indeed Let's just hope it continues after the new 2016 Camaro arrives

I don't trust it at this level, particularly with the headwinds blowing against it. But the 4% dividend yield is nice.

I don't care about the mullet mobile ! Which is exactly why I hope the Mustang continues to climb in sales over GM's Mullaro

Does anyone have sales figures on the sales bump from SN95 to S197?
While 124% sounds great, I'm not sure if this is better than expected or not.

Really? The current generation Camaro (in 1LE form) spanks the hell out of the S550 Performance Pack for comparable money.

Having associations with the style preferences of the owners is one thing but to write-off a formidable (and by some measures, superior) performance car on those grounds is just sad.

Found it:
2004: 129,858
2005: 160,975

or...a 124% increase!

Fairly weird that it would come out the same.

Btw, they only sold 82,635 cars in 2014...having competition in the segment really stings.

You might want to check your math. That is only a 24% increase over 2004.

I didn't check his math but the OP said monthly sales, everyone else did yearly sales

Sorry...worded it wrong. Not a 124% increase....sales in 2005 were 124% of previous year.

Regardless, mustangs are whooping up. Kinda surprised, just cuz I'm not sold on it. They should kept the 14' model longer

Got it. By the way, I was one of those 2005 sales. I still have my 2005 Mustang GT. Of course, I'm probably replacing it with a new Mustang this Fall.

FYI. Don't buy Ford stock for just the Mustang. The Mustang is the gravy. If you want to eat well, make sure you're getting good meat and potatoes.

That means: F-150, Focus, Edge, etc. Make sure all the big popular sellers are "firing on all cylinders" so to speak! That's healthier for your Ford stock by far.
