Misleading title maybe, but later in the article it states that SVO will not be the name although for nostalgic purposes it would make sense.

I bypassed the SVO thing and went straight in to turbo. You guys really seem to see the "at face" value around here sometimes, sheesh.

Thats what I said, the article title mentions SVO. So that's misleading.
If the title was 'Return of the SVO, just kidding, but seriously there's a turbo engine coming for the mustang'
but that was probably too long...

Hence why I said 'MISSELADING ARTICLE TITLE"

There was more to the SVO than the motor. Ecoboost in the Mustang shouldn't surprise anyone, but a modern version of the SVO would get people's heart racing!

I always liked the SVO, but never owned one. I hope they make one - 4 or V6.

My guess: The Turbo will be an LX type middle car between the 5.0 and the V6 base in an attempt to improve the CAFE needs. (less 5.0s) And they won't call it an SVO.

We'll see though.

The LX label is dead, and the EcoBoost probably wouldn't get its own trim label other than "EcoBoost"

Doubt it.
They won't have that many engine choices.

LX *type* middle car. It doesn't have to be LX, but the idea is like the GT and the LX 5.0, in Fox body terms. That's what I meant.

But like said above, retro badges are always possible.

The ecoboost is being tuned to 450hp and 500 ft-lb of torque.

'the ecoboost' is so vague.
There isn't just 'one ecoboost' engine
