Interesting observation about 2015 design

I noticed something as my two cars are parked adjacent to each other. The 2015 Mustang exactly mimics the pattern of the side windows of my 2009 Vantage...

i am not surprised. There have been many renderings and concept mustangs mimicking the AM's. There are certainly worse cars to follow

^^ yeah agreed there haha

Funny that a lot of people liken the fusion front end with Aston Martins... And now some of the features of the s550. Fine with me, astons are my favorite car design out there haha. Some people may disagree, but I like the idea of the mustang bridging the gap of pony car and sports coupe. I think in a perfect world, both can be achieved

Looks like that Aston has my favorite feature no longer made on American cars, a vent window instead of an enormous black plastic mirror housing that blocks your vision. Now that's something I'd like to see come back. And maybe vinyl roofs too.

Actually it is not a vent window just a trim piece! I noticed some other design mimicry but nothing as close as the window itself.

The greenhouse/rooflines are also very similar too

Amazing how thin the B pillar is on the AM compared to that of the Mustangs. It would've been a lot sleeker and given more outside visibility if the Mustang could've done the same.

Those same people should realize the Fusion was inspired by the Evos concept and Aston-Martin..

If the S550 had arrived prior to the Fusion, what would those people say then ?

Sure, there are similarities between the grill sections, however the Mustang has a more aggressive and narrow shaped grill over the Fusion and according to the S550 design team, their inspiration for the Mustang grill was also taken from the 68 Shelby GT500 along with the Aston-Martin Vanquish !
