got the order info from the dealer yesterday, he said let me know and he will order it now so it gets in line. hard to figure out the color i want, triple yellow or deep impact blue. i have a 2014 v-6 in deep impact blue that i love that ill be trading in, i used to have a 99 mustang in chrome yellow i loved as well. its hard to decide.

also, why can you not get the gauges in the center if you order an automatic? its only avail on the gt performance package, but then you lose the spoiler in the rear and you cant get automatic. i want the auto with paddle controls. only the 50th anniv can you get auto and gauges, but i dont want to order the 50th anniv and pay the premium on it, since i may trade it later anyways if they gt500 or cobra come out next year.

i also want the cross traffic in the mirrors, rear cam, gps, am i leaving anything out i should get?

What does the order info look like? Does it have a color chart on it?

 

When I was younger (Teenager to 30s) I wanted to be noticed, what I was wearing, how my hair looked and my ride.

The Yellow & any of the Bright Colors (Orange, Grabber ____) will draw everyone's attention. It's bad enough while driving & very annoying when your sitting at a stoplight and people are starring at me. So I don't order cars anymore in my favorite (((LOOK AT ME COLORS)))

When I go to car shows, the Bright Colors always grab my attention before the actual car does.

Now this is just the way I feel. I don't like all the attention because of bright paint, those who do look at what I'm driving, are usually people who Know cool cars.

 

I agree, I almost feel self conscious in my GHIG GT. LOVE the color but don't want all the looks. Guess I didn't think the color thing through very well before ordering. Scott

Do you find it (Kona) has the characteristics of Black, shows dust after cleaning, swirls in paint, etc.?

I'm new to this forum... but I love when people stare at my cars that were painted Competition Orange, Race Red, Corvette Yellow, Plum Metallic and my latest Grabber Orange. They also stared at my 06 black Impala SS with ground effects and custom hood... I guess I like the attention I get with my cars, no matter the color. Couldn't afford cars like this while the kids were growing up, so I'm getting them now. Who says old means subdued??? NOT ME! Just my 2 cents!

 

Wow. I ALSO had a 99 mustang. And I also have a 2014 V6. And thinking I should have gotten a GT. And looking longingly at these new cars.

Also, I'm imagining it on a '13 or '14, so that might have something to do with it... tryin' to imagine the '15... still likin' it, although that dang filler panel in the back messes it up a little bit... Sorta does the '13-14 too, but...

I would get Comp Orange, PP, manual with Recaros.

 

I was right there with the same decision. But for me it was easy. The wife hates yellow cars, and she also told me I was too damned old to drive a yellow car! Hey, I'm almost 52, I'm not in the grave yet!!

 

now my DIB is still stuck at the plant for a month, they do have a comp orange with perf pack and 50th anniv package on the way in im thinking about getting instead.....not sure, i did like the automatic and this would be a manual again.
