Here is what you described to me:

And here is what I saw (I took a video and here are screen captures). This is the side view silhouette...hidden by clever lighting... comes on for a few seconds at the end of the commercial.. then it says "Coming this October"

And there was a hashtag right after the silhouette was shown for a brief second.
Yes that is very similar to the commercial I saw except that the silhouette showed more of the doors and less of the front and rear bumpers and it said in big metallic grey letters " October 2013" <- that is it, no hash tag or small print.
I appreciate that you would go and try to confirm/correct me about this commercial.

I swear this commercial is driving me crazy, regardless if it was the new mustang or a coupe fusion, I'm done talking about it until I see it again, because it is driving me mad :screwy;

I must be the only one here that thinks a vibrating shift **** with a gear indicator is a dumb idea. Seriously, if you dont know when to shift up or down or know what gear you are in you have no business in a manual. My first thoughts about this is how much is it costing me and how do I disable it.

I didn't say it, but I think it's kind of silly too. However, it's more the open source code and information available to the coders that I think is cool. Who knows what it will lead to, but there are a lot of creative people out there.

Well I certainly dont blame anyone if they remembered a commercial incorrectly but it was very clearly 4 series.

This is getting way off topic so I'll just leave it at this.. I posted the vid elsewhere (cut down from original since its a long one). U can check it out there.
