Coming to an S550 near you: SAME OLD MODS
Like this? http://www.americanmuscle.com/boss-q...st-1113gt.html I don't think that's correct.
And people asking for opinions on cosmetic mods or "which CAI is the best one?!?!?!!!!"
1. It's your car, you're paying for it. Why should you care what other people think? If they're paying for cosmetic mod(s), then by all means ask away. Otherwise, mod the car to your liking.
2. The best CAI, shifter, grille, axle-back, mid-pipe, springs, etc is the one you like.

I don't get it...
Is the sole purpose of this thread to whine about the inevitable mod offerings for the upcoming car? If so, does it really surprise you that said mods are going to come out? Look at the history, it's a never ending cycle.

Whiny? Call it whatever you want.
I have been a muscle car fan since I was a small kid. I have also been around other parts of the car hobby (even some import stuff!) and I have observed a lot in my time as a Blue Oval owner. I'm on my second V8 Mustang and I love them. The fan base for these cars is also pretty amazing with tons of great people around... but in general, it has to be second only to the Harley Davidson crowd in terms of predictability.
I started the thread hopiong that someone might disagreewith me and say that the standard Mustang mods will probably not be applied. "Fake scoops are dead" or "Chrome wheels won't look right on this car."
Taking a look at the recent American Muscle designs, we see once again, folks trying to make this car into what it has always been, applying the same old treatments. Bullitt, Elanor, Iacocca? Yes, they look pretty cool but we've seen this all before.
Anyway, call it a prediction. Mods we've seen on previous generations will be slapped right onto this car too, despite being a very clean slate and having a very different aesthetic and intentions than the previous cars.

Again I'm not seeing recommendations on what you consider "new".
Only mod I'm planning on is tinted windows. I really like it the way it is. But then again, I'm an old fart. Now if I had almost $8K to blow, there is always a supercharger in the back of my mind. But I better win the lottery first.
The hole point is !! Mustangs are the most modded cars in the world. We all know there are tons around at least we have options to make them look different . If no one did this stuff thay would be all the same Boring !! My god I have got all the stuff listed lol. But my car turns heads. I went for my own look I think !! At least even with the all the easy mods we have options. Different styles looks "RIGHT"
