500 Mile Review

Metallic Prem GT Vert Auto 3.55 w/Anniv accessories package. Almost at 500 miles and get to take it on a 220 mile highway ride next week! Impressions so far:

Love it!!!

Interior is fantastic and one of the main reasons I bought it. I did get the 50th anniversary floor mats and trunk mat from CJ Pony. Ford whiffed on that one. I'll be curious to see how the seats hold up, but right now I think they are great - snug & comfy.

Only mod to-date (and not really a mod, but I am a newbie) is to put in the Redline Hood Struts. Simple and far better than the stick - Another Ford whiff - Keeping in mind that this is a Premium version!

Love the engine, the engine sound, and the handling - I was nervous here coming from a foreign car - but it handles great. Passing....Soooo smoothly accelerates that you almost don't notice it.

Exterior looks...Best story so far for me is coming out of the grocery store, I notice a couple is standing by my car gawking & they see their friends coming out of the store & yell across the parking lot if they can take this car instead of theirs! Of course I walked up with a big smile and said no, but stick around while it start it!

Going to have a 1,000 oil change in about two weeks.

Hard to beat a V8 Mustang ragtop. Smart move with the Redline struts. It was the best $80 I ever spent...on just about anything.

Congrats.....and show us pics, pics, and more pics.

Glad you are loving it. Like who would not? lol. I always stop and gawk at the 15's when I see one. I sat in one recently at the dealer while my 13 GT was getting an oil change. Could not believe how comfy the seats were. I did not want to get out.

No more than 20 minutes and I was taking my time. The instructions are very clear.
