2018 Mustang Instrument Cluster??

I was in Florida last week and I saw several new 2018 Mustangs. However, I noticed they all had the pre-2018 analog instrument clusters. I thought 2018's were going to the new widescreen electronic cluster?

Is it an option? Was Ford late with the release?

Option I believe. When I was getting my '17, they JUST got their shipment of '18's. I asked about the new digital dash, and out of like the 7 or 8 they got, only one had it.

I think the digital instrument cluster is an option in the 2018 premium models.
I just got a 2018 GT base model and it has the analog instrument cluster.

Yep, it's a $2200 option that comes with the heated steering wheel, upgraded interior, and navigation.

I have to be honest - it's a bit much for me. Analog is just fine.

Oh and I was waiting for grabber blue anyway, so...

I just went with the old style. And like you I would like Grabber Blue to make a return.

I'm curious about the new digital instrument cluster for night driving. Lights during prolonged night time driving make my eyes burn and water.

Used to have an old Sirius Radio that I had mounted to the dash. Found out one evening that the blue light for the screen was bright enough to irritate my eyes so much, they burned like hell and I had to almost blindly pull over and wait for them to stop watering.

I'm very concerned about my large nav screen in my new ride. I know it dims for darkness, but I'm not sure it's going to be enough. Haven't had a long night drive yet.

I know that in my 2014 it's possible to turn the screen completely off United you touch it. Do you have a "DISP" button?
