Not a lot of people liking it right now.
I do, but I think it'll look better in person, and it'll probably grow on people once they see it in metal.

The front end looks more slimmed down like the GT350 and not as big and chunky as the 15-17.
The rear end is just an improvement over the already striking 15-17.

Can't wait to see specs.

I really want to see some decent official shots. Even the quality of the video isn't great.......but the car? Wow....I REALLY like it! I agree it'll look even better in the metal, as does the current car.

I'd like to say I'm amazed at the negative responses elsewhere.......but then that always happens with a new model of facelift. It wasn't long ago it was "ewww, a Fusion coupe"

Anyway, rubbish photoshop, but looks good in black

Looks like a lower grill & steeper slope to the hood. Probably better visibility over the hood, and maybe a better drag coefficient too. I'll want to see one in person before I decide if I like the looks better.

I think it's absolutely hideous, from what we've seen. Especially that front lower air dam area. That should've been black, not body color. Then it might be okay with me. It just doesn't look different enough for a refresh. The grille looks almost exactly the same except a little bigger. They couldn't even design some new wheels for the Performance Package??

VIDEO: New 2018 Mustang Face Revealed, and it's Depressing

Here it is — the highly anticipated facelift for the 2018 Mustang. Now before everyone starts bashing the look of the car in The Mustang Source forums, ask yourself this: if the sad, droopy look makes the Mustang a little faster on the track, is it worth it?

I personally don't like it... but then again I didn't like the S550's when they first came out. Seeing one in person AND the interior is what changed my mind... so we'll see....

Hate to say it, but late gen Mustangs are making the Camaro look sexy.

Looks terrible. Fusion-stang or not, the '15 at least looked like somebody thought out the design. This one looks like they just took a box cutter to the nose

Stop, Ford. Just... stop it. Stop screwing up the bottom half of these car's faces. They're pretty except for that.

I thought it would look better in darker colors myself. Also like Boomer indicated it looks like Ford lowered the nose a bit on the car. Look at the old car and the "tunnel" that starts at the front fascia and goes back looks higher on the 15-17 cars when you look at how the headlights line up. the 18 car appears to be lower or its an optical trick since the headlights have been revised.

Anyways I was excited to see Michelin Pilot Super Sports on there! A part of the "performance pack II" I hope including some more take off bits from the discontinued base 2016 GT350. MPSS tires in conjunction with the Mag-Ride for the GT are going to make for a great handling car.

It would be great if the PPII cars were more or less bridging the gulf between the GT350 and the GT only missing the 5.2 and Tremec box that would be awesome!

---> edit <---
I think what's really messing up the front end is the bottom part of the fascia. It just doesn't flow well with the grille. Something I hope the aftermarket can address, especially if you can pop that inner black plastic out and replace it with something more homogeneous with the upper grille.

I hope they continue to sell well enough to keep the Mustang name alive, but not a car I'm likely to buy. Current Ford styling just isn't working for me

I think those are the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. The sidewalls appear to have the velvet type lettering that the new tires are supposed to have (like the Pilot Sport Cup 2s do).

Don't like it.
Almost looks like the front of the car is sad.
It's a change for the sake of change.
Should've left it alone and just add the 10-speed auto and direct injection in the 5.0 for a nice 475-hp offering

Not feeling the wing, even though C&D said it's wind tunnel tested (according to Ford). Front...I'll wait to see it in my preferred colors (and in person), but I DO see where the GT resemblance is.

Performance wise, I am loving the news about dual injection. If we can pair the 10AT, the GT PP, and the active exhaust, I'd be set.
