2018 Mustang GT prem.

I bought a 2015 mustang and the dealer traded it for a 2017 last june. Well I loved the 2017 and had it for a year now but me and dealer worked it out on a great trade and he gave me full buy out if I put down a 2000 deposit and agreed to order a 2018 mustang. I am excited but it will be early 2nd. qtr like oct 1st or so to see what IF any incentives ford may have on a 2018. They do not usually have great incentives on new mustangs or lease packages but O just hope they do not take a hugh price increase. But I also leased a new 2017 F150 FX4 after getting rid of my fusion and Harley sportster so I could afford. Anyway does anyone know about the options. Mainly the tunable exhaust kind of turns me off but it will save me if I take that option if it is an option or standard feature. But I usually order the magnaflow exhaust and they sound great. Anyone have any ideas about the 2018 GT's and options. I will stay with GT premium and shaker but the xhaust are puzzling me also the 10 speed auto scares me. So I might stay with the manual trans. Thoughts or suggestions anyone!

The Harley is my pride along with my mustang! I love power and the Harley has a 120R racing motor on it and it sounds so sweet on the road and responds like a tiger when I open it up!

Since you have a truck you could DD 3-4 times a week you should definitely go with a manual. Auto only makes sense in a sports/muscle car when it's the only DD, or a pure drag machine IMO.

I hate it when at a red light stopped and just driving when light changes the 1st gear is so tight the cars take off and leave me unless I floor board it and go thru the shifts then it appears I am drag racing and automatic would have no shift delay.

By the way , I am not bragging about my toys at all. I am 70 yrs. old and worked 58 yrs. to retire and have my last hoorah and I don't have a NAG to ask "Can I " . I fought cancer in 2015 and still trying to hope to be cancer free. So toys are my only outlet along with great forum members !

That's awesome.
I ride tigers all the time so I know exactly what you're talking about

I don't think it's entirely clear yet which options for the 2018 are stand-alone and which ones are only available as add-ons to the GT Performance Package.
