What if the New GT350 Looks Like This?

There have been numerous spy photos and videos of the upcoming Mustang GT350 swirling around the interwebs, so we have a rough idea of the monster's eventual production looks.

Until that time, people such as Jalopnik's Patrick George can dream that it will have the same aggressive front end, wheels and stripes seen on the above rendering from automotive graphics and design company Gurnade.

Tell us what you think. Too much? Not enough? Does it make the S550 look better?

Read the rest on the Mustang Source homepage.

I've seen it, too. My guess is it is the closest to the actual thing we will see. I am just wondering how they are going to handle the new "fangs." Body color or black?

I say black, but might turn into having option so you can get it body color, or black. similar to what current Charger SRT-8 has.

Wow. With a little paint instead of all that camo, I really see the 60s in that front end. Can't wait to see the actual thing in the flesh.

I would have even painted that center lower opening area black and totally/visually opened up the mouth even more.

An improvement over the stock look to me. They narrowed the amount of acreage between the headlamp and the fog lamp area by adding what appears to be a turn signal. It improves the look somewhat and the addition of the body clad color pieces in the grill openings helps as well. All in all a decent look, though I still would like to see the headlamps pulled down just a bit.

Looks like they made a bad front end even worse. Go Shelby! for keeping it tacky as usual.

It's possible but they will still produce the GT350 just maybe not the GT500.

Ford owns GT500 lock, stock and barrel and has since the 60's. Before Shelby passed he worked a deal on GT350. I don't know if Ford is just licensing GT350 or they own it now.

Now we might not see a "Shelby" GT350 or GT500 anymore but at the very least Ford can bang out a Ford GT500 any time they please and in any manner they choose even if its a hybrid one cylinder Fiesta getting 500 miles to the gallon.

Not according to the trademark office. I don't know what deals may be in the works but Shelby currently owns the registrations.

I see, I know I read that somewhere as one of the reasons Shelby had a falling out with Ford. It might have been just Cobra but I thought it included GT500 as well.

I wish I could cite where I read that?

I believe Ford owns the cobra and Shelby owns the GT500. Regardless the GT350s are built over at Shelby and not right off the production line.

Not anymore. Shelby discontinued the 350's, which is why so many believe the next SVT model will be called the GT350. Shelby now makes the Shelby GT, it's very similar to the GT350, just with a different name.

Correct. The last GT350s were built in December and the latest cars are just badged as GTs
