That's now 2 places we've seen it.

The fiberglass vert/coupe model in the studio, and now this.
Would be interesting to see on the real deal what it would look like.

Looks much better than the GT text and running pony emblems on the cars we've seen so far IMO.

You just did it right, same with a real car. If you don't have a few parts left over you screwed up!

Also I like the faux cap as well, it breaks up that broad expanse of black plastic.

I also like how the diffuser is all black instead of part being color matched to the body. Doesn't look nearly as strange this way and makes the rear end look less bulky.

I don't know...I kind of like the GT text only in the back. It gives it a real clean look.

A model kit with 6 parts? My 10-year old self is crying inside. I always stayed away from "snaptite" kits because models and glue go together.

You guys want some car models? Try these.

But get your wallet out because Auto Art cars are not cheap. They have just about every variant of the Mustang you can imagine. No doubt they will offer the 2015 soon enough. Just browse the Ford section under the showroom.

Yep, Autoart make superb, albeit pricey, scale models.

The Maisto 1/18 S550 is now available and is pretty good value. Mine arrived yesterday

Autoart is pretty amazing. I have a GT40 that cost me about $150. How much is the Maisto 15 Mustang? They do a pretty good job and they are much cheaper.

I picked up mine for about £27 plus shipping (I'm in the UK). I'm guessing you'll pay similar in $$

Maistos are generally $10-25, but not nearly as detailed as AutoArt.

Maisto has them in Red, White & Blue. Something Ford should've offered for the Limited 50th Anniversary Special Edition (Ruby Red, Wimbledon White & Kona Blue) to tie in the tri-bar logo.
