2015 Mustang GT JLT Cold Air Intake Installation Video
JLT CAI-FMG15 Mustang Cold Air Intake Kit GT 2015
Today we are installing a JLT black textured cold air intake kit on a 2015 GT Mustang. Like previous Mustangs a sure way to get more power and performance out of your GT is with a cold air intake.
This kit from JLT will replaces your factory air box, with a black textured cold air intake which will look great under the hood.
Installation was rather simple since JLT designed this intake to bolt right on to the S550 with no permanent modifications. This kit can be installed in under an hour and really looks great under the hood. Make a note however, you will need a tune after it is installed.

Going to be my 1st purchase once I get my 2015 mustang. Already have a SCT tuner I use on my 2014. Maker says they can switch it to the 2015. Then a new exhaust system. Would love for you to do the Ford racing Borla cat-back touring so I can compare the sound to the sport.

Hey Steve, thanks for the videos. Really appreciated!
I'm really wondering the effectiveness of this JLT product though. The stock was a closed system that only cooler air from behind the grill got in. The JLT now sucks air from under the hood area in addition to the cooler air from behind the grill.
But I understand, this is a discussion to have with JLT, not CJ's. I'll hook up with them next year at the MB show. Besides, the CFO has already put her foot down. No aftermarket until it is paid off!

Naaaaaa. After 26 years (and her income as a CRNA ) I think I'll keep her!
But you have to see the big picture, I just finished a 15 year restoration of a '66 GT Fastback that I spent as much on as the new '15. I've got $70K of Mustangs in the garage and driveway.
