2015 Mustang GT Ford Racing Sport Cat-Back Exhaust Install Video

Ford Racing M-5200-M8SC Mustang GT Sport Cat-Back Exhaust 2015

Today we are installing the Ford Racing by Borla stainless steel Sport 2-1/2" cat-back exhaust system on a 2015 GT Mustang. Like most GT owners we found the stock exhaust system on the new 2015 GT to be a little quiet for such an impressive car. Ford Racing teamed up with Borla to create their Sport series cat-back exhaust system.

Installation was incredibly simple on the new 2015, and can be done in about an hour. Simply unbolt the factory exhaust, although we do recommend having some help taking it off if your using a lift because it is all 1 piece and is quite heavy. Once removed, bolt in the new system.

The Ford Racing by Borla Sport cat-back sounds great inside and outside of the car. A nice aggressive sound that should come with a muscle car. If you are looking for a great sounding and great looking cat-back exhaust for your 2015 GT, than check out the Sport cat-back from Ford Racing.

That sounds great! It's a bit more raspy that I would have expected from Borla, I would have guessed it was a Roush. Sounds nice and mean though, I love it

That does sound good and much better than stock. Borla makes some good stuff. I have a Borla Cat-back on my 98 chevy truck and it sounds good.

I have heard that one a few times. I am sure we will get that video up, with SEMA next week I don't know if it will happen before then though. I will post it as soon as I have it though.

I am flabbergasted, honestly, that Ford made that *one giant piece* with that nasty resonator in it from the cats back. I mean... shipping, for one, if a factory replacement is needed, and if, say, the resonator is beaten up and damaged, you don't get just that, you get the *entire thing*?

Wow. Just... wow.

---

Beyond that, heck yes, that Ford/Borla exhaust is perfect, for me, if'n I had a '15. Love the tips. I'd be painting those cans to hide them better behind the fascia though, but that's just me.

Great tutorial as usual, guys!

Yeah it was great and I agree it is a shame to have to replace it all the way to the cats to avoid cutting.
