16 or 17 ?

My plan is to wait till fall then order a 2017 GT with the PP.
But lately I've been asking myself why am I waiting?
I guess my question is will there be any real differences between the two model years? Maybe a few more bugs worked out?

The only difference I know of is colors. Competition orange, Guard, and Deep Impact Blue are going away. Replaced with Grabber Blue, Lightening blue and white platinum metallic. If you do not want any of those colors, I do not see any harm in waiting to see if the 17's offer anything new.

Weren't they supposed to come out with hood mounted turn signals as optional equipment at some point?

Hood turn signals not coming back on the '17. If you want them, order now!

I haven't seen them as on order option though? If anything could always get the kit from AM, comes in amber flashers or red

Hood T/S were a std. feature of all 2016 GT's, but has been deleted for 2017.

Special ordering a 2016 is DONE, you can only order a 2017 now. If you want the hood turn signals, you will need to find a '16 on a dealers lot.

There are rebates and special financing available on 2016's and there is a price increase on 2017's so more reasons to shop for a 2016 NOW.

Did a test drive today and was told that the configuration I want will have to be ordered. You sure about having to order a '17? The salesman didn't mention anything about that . Of course he may not have known about it. In my experience I usually know more about the cars and trucks I'm shopping for than the salesmen.

Not gonna lie, I never understood the logic behind bringing them back, especially since some of the older members of this and other forums had never heard of the, either.
