I bought my car from Sandy Springs Ford here in Atlanta. I had shopped all of the Ford dealers in the city and they all had maybe 3-4 different model Mustangs. I found the exact one (and only one in Atlanta) that I was looking for with the colors and options I wanted without having to special order. As of this post they have in stock:

I called C. S. again today...They told me the sales manager tried to call me yesterday to tell me it's now scheduled for build (Though still no VIN). I called him...He said they'd sold four others and couldn't get their allotment increased, and that's why it's taken 8 weeks and still no VIN. I guess I should have called C.S. sooner. Sad that a small-town dealer can't get deliveries when they've sold cars.

I too, ordered 2012 V6 Mustang Convertible back in January 12, 2011. I finally received it May 5, 2011! I was told it would be 6-8 weeks but turned out to be 8 mos! All they told me each time I called to follow up was that the factory was out of parts and had to wait. I did hear at one time, production was halted but not sure why. Anyways, I love my car. It was definately worth the wait. I got 2012 MCA Edition with SYNC, Shaker, and Bluetooth! I am definately in love! :-)

hey guys im the one who started this post, so i wanted to keep u guys updated..i finally received my car the end of june...its took 12 weeks..but its definetly worth the wait..best car i ever owned..i had late model vetts, camaros, and late model gto..this car is without a doubt the best!! i think some of the delay comes from japan being short on parts for the mustang..

+1 ^, Really?? I learn somethimng new everyday lol. The important thing is he got his ride and loves it, But I would be leery of his mpg claims lololo.
