I'm just glad that the '13 will be markedly different from the '12. It will make my Lava Red car that much more rare - even if they bring the color back. ;-) I'll save my pennies and upgrade for the '15 model. W00T!

Like for me, i bought a slightly used 2010 GT500 earlier this year. My purpose for the car is a daily driver/ cruising car. I already have so much power with the 540 HP that i barely get grip when getting on it hard. The cars have a limiter on them so additional hp is not going to help my top end speed. I will never track the car so i really did not care about the 100 something pounds the 2011+ GT500's lose by going with the aluminum block.
I think the only reason Ford keeps uping the engine and hp is bragging/marketing reasons over the competition. As a typical owner using the car for average uses, i have no sour feelings about not waiting for the 5.8. plus, mine was probably at least $20,000 cheaper than the price of the 2013 GT500. if i dump 20k into my car, i could smoke a new 5.8L GT500. so this GT500 onwner feels great!

No offense, that's always such a BS reason that people use to justify their current 'slower' and/or older ride, as it won't be the latest and greatest when the new one comes out.
It'll happen now, and it'll happen in 2014 when the 15s come out.
You don't even know what the new car has yet other than an engine size...
Enjoy your faster than 2009 GT500s...slower than 2011 GT500s.
You don't have to justify it to us

The nice thing about the 2013 Mustangs is they have an optional Virtual Drag Racing Start Light App. To having a drag racing type Christmas tree light is BIG. I would get a 2013 Mustang just to get the Start Light App.
