Whining noise...

... so I'm getting a whining noise coming from the front of the car (started around 1500 miles, I have 1600 or so on the car now) - starts off around 1.5K RPM and grows louder and louder as the RPM's go up; the whine only happens under light throttle acceleration. It is most evident in 2nd and 3rd gear to about 3 - 3.5K RPM; any speeds after that the road noise is too loud to hear? Best way to describe it is it sounds like a "weeeeeee"

Only mods are what is in the sig. Any thoughts?

I'd say something the tune did or a leak somewhere on the intake....

I'd check for air leaks on the intake. Did you mod the sound tube at all? If so, check there. Make sure everything is tight etc...

Hmm... I'll take a look at that tomorrow; and no, no mods to the sound tube at all. Just hooked it right back up to the C&L CAI. Thanks for the response.
