Vibrations

I have 2012 v6 premium. Has a bad vibration under deacceleration between 3500-1500 it shakes all over through out the whole car. Took it to the dealer and they said ford knows about it and says its normal characteristics of the v6 with a 6 speed manual tranny. No fix. That sucks for a $30,000 car with 5000 miles on it. Has a nasty vibration on if and ford says normal operation. No repairs needed. B S

You need to contact another dealer, and have them evaluate the problem. If all else fails, contact the Ford Customer Service rep, on this forum. You only have the dealers' word that Ford knows there is a problem and there is no fix.

Hey Jatss,

Welcome to the forum. This is Deysha with Ford Customer Service. I agree with SD CALSPCL, and recommend you bring it in to a different Ford dealer for a 2nd opinion. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, and contact info to escalate this if needed.

I seem to remember that this vibration has something to do with the flywheel and Ford will tell you its normal. I cant remember where I read this at but it seems to be a common complaint.

To me that is unacceptable but let us know how this turns out. Fords standards seem to be dropping of late imho. I hope you get it resolved.
