That's machine damage and not curb bite. Curb bite will damage the outer lip and not inside of the rim. Duh.
If it wasn't factory, id tell you to go back to the tire shop tech that prodded that rim with their crow bar and slap him.
Sad scenario. Sorry bro.

Look another case of poor customer service. What a surprise.
As far as your rims, curb damage Ford? Really? Did you guys have Stevie Wonder look at the pictures and come to that conclusion? Christ.

I can't enlarge the pics for some reason here at work, but it seems a bit high for curb and on the driver's side to boot? I don't buy that it is curb rash at all.
MAYBE the rail from a drive through carwash (does your dealership have one of those?), but not from a curb.

...Totally chewed up the drivers side Saleen chrome rim. That was a 400 dollar screw up
I agree that a car wash would do the same type of damage.

I would just cut your losses. Buy a new rim, tell Ford to **** off, and use that scratched rim as a full size spare.
If not, sell the rim to a member or on eBay. Recoupe some money back and start focusing on mods!
