Sluggish 12 GT

As I read everyones car at times can seem more sluggish than others, but lately it just doesn't feel like a 412 hp car. I understand ite an automatic, but the other day I stepped on the gas and the car felt like a 72 pinto. I actually had it revved to 6000 rpms and it still moved like a mustang II. The car has qbout 5000 miles on it. Once and a while the car actually feels like a 5.0. Anyone know if this is normal?

Sounds like something is wrong. When you step on her, that beaatch should downshift and move.

Every once is a while, my Auto will refuse to downshift quickly from throttle input, but other than the Auto being stubborn at downshifting in order to maintain fuel economy, she's still plenty fast.

One thing to try, If you have been running fuel from a single gas station, or a lower octane fuel, try a few tanks of 93-octane from a reputable gas station, it could just be that you're getting poor quality fuel and the computer is protecting the engine by yanking engine timing.

From what I've seen, the autos are running pretty good. Like mid to high 12s bone stock. That good. So I don't think having an auto is the problem.

Hi JohnNy5126,

I recommend you make an appointment with your dealer and PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can get this escalated to the Customer Service Manager for your area.
