If it's still under bumper to bumper warranty, try that. Maybe Deysha can help you out if the dealership wont. A car shouldn't show signs of age like that after only three years...

My Mitsubishi's headlights were clouding over really bad after 4.5 years. Warranty is 5 year/60k, so I mentioned it to the shop manager last time I was in there and he sent it over to corporate warranty for approval and I got two brand new headlights out of it for free. Worth a shot.

For the guys that wanna prevent this, get a good layer of actual Protectant on there, not just a "look good" product.

I HIGHLY recommend 303 Aerospace protectant for plastic trim. It has SPF 40 in it to block damaging rays.

Check some detailing sites for tons of choices, The BlackFire line is great too.

Try Autogeek.net
thanks i'm gonna look into that

Hello cinque35,

I agree with dogiebitt about bringing this up to your Ford dealer. Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, and contact info so I can help.

Thanks Deysha, but I already ordered a new one and am trading this one in, the dealer already inspected the car and isn't concerned with it.
besides it would be more trouble to leave it to be repaired since it's my only car.
