Anyone having issues with the parking aid system? Is there a recall out? The issue I am having is only once in a while, when I try to reverse the back up cam and reverse sensors won't function. I have a manual, I've tried taking it in and out of gear, turning off the car removing the keys and opening the door, but when it happens, non of these things work...

 

It seems like an intermittently failing switch would clear itself with the actions you have taken. I wonder if there could be a wire that is being shorted, perhaps by something you have in your trunk or wherever - your golf clubs maybe.

 

I don't use my trunk as it is not a daily driver, I have taken it to Ford and because it doesn't always happen, they weren't able to figure it out...
