Sometimes my sarcasm isn't apparent. No worries brother.

Still waiting on the call that the part has come in to make an appt. I expected to have received a call by now that it came in. I don't know how long it typically takes to receive factory parts but now it will be at the earliest Monday which will be a week since they ordered it. So it may take a few more days until I get it in.

Depending on where the part comes from. I ordered some factory parts from my dealer. The first time it took a week. The second time it took 2 days. I would follow up with them on Monday.

What Philly area Ford dealer resolved it? I am right over the bridge in NJ and know most of the good and bad dealers in our area.

Springfield Ford in Springfield, PA is resolving it. I don't want to make it seem like they were quick and easy in discovering it though. It took, as you may have read, 4 or 5 visits of persisting after telling me it had been fixed.

Just checking in with you guys. I received the call Monday that my rack had come in and they scheduled me for today, Thursday. I was a little anxious and was hoping I could get it in beforehand but they were booked up.

I'm bringing it in and waiting with it. I will get back to you all after I get back. I hope this was the sole problem and there wasn't something else contributing.

BTW, what did you guys think about the first look at the new Mustang? I like it. I kind of knew it had those general lines because when the first few sets of spy shots hit there was a set that was taken when it was raining and you could see through the front bra to an extent. So I was able to make out the front end a little bit. I don't think it looks too radically different from the 10-14 model. I think you can see a resemblance particularly to the '13 and '14s.

Alright fellas, I got the car back today. They had it for 6 hours and replaced the steering rack and did the alignment.

The steering isn't clunking and seems resolved. I found that the wheel is super tight even in "comfort". The wheel feels like it is in sport all the time and is kind of notchy when turning.

I just hope that it is resolved. If the clank starts again I will tear my hair out.

I will keep my ears open to see if it acts up again. I'm scared to really mess with it because I don't want to hear it clank again. I would feel defeated.

Thanks for the support. It is genuinely appreciated. I sincerely appreciate it.

It would be better for you to go out and try to break it, frankly. The worst case scenario is that it isn't really fixed, but it takes long enough to reveal itself that they can distance themselves from it.

But I think it's fixed. Either way, it's a machine. Use it.

These things are not virgin Princesses made of spun sugar. Your enjoyment will increase once you quit being afraid of breaking it. BTDT.

Glad it's fixed.
