Hi-Speed Blower (Fan) Inop
My hi-speed blower (heat and air conditioning) apparently does not work. There is no difference in fan speed on hi (all the way clock-wise) and the next speed down. In other words, the last 2 fan speeds are the same. Any ideas? Are they all that way? Also I looked for the fuse panel (fuse panel is located in the lower passenger side area behind the kick panel), removed the kick panel door and didn't see anything that looked like a fuse panel...can someone send a picture of it...

If a fuse was blown it wouldn't work at all.
Don't think I've ever had a need to use the highest fan speed on mine but can't imagine that it would be the same speed as the next notch lower. Maybe a bad switch.

Tried mine out just a few minutes ago on the way to the store and the high speed is only slightly higher than the next position down, hardly noticeable difference.

My '11 has speeds that you can notice the difference with.
The fuse box is behind a small cover under the kick panel. Stand on your head with a flashlight and it will be easy to locate.

A friend with a 2014 checked his and said it is the same. His quote " I noticed that the blower fan **** has 7 tick marks on it. Are you saying that when you turn the **** from tick mark #6 to tick mark #7 (the farthest right hand mark), the fan doesn't blow harder? If you are, that's the nature of the beast. Tick mark #6 is high fan. The last one (#7) changes nothing on my car either. In my opinion, Ford put one too many marks on it. When selecting Max A/C, it operates the same way, but the fan blows much harder (and recirculates cabin air) through the dash vents, as they should. I don't think you actually have a problem. Our blower fans are the same and working as advertised".
Has anyone else checked their '14 base GT? Please advise, thanks
