Good experience
Good experience
I have a 2014 Mustang convertible. My car developed the LCA issue. I wanted to share my positive dealership experience since I've read so many not so good dealer experiences on this forum.
I've also had an issue with my heater fan squealing quietly but enough to be really irritating. I had the dealership I bought the car from look at it. The service person said she couldn't hear the squeal. I was sitting the the car with her and could hear it well. So, when the car was worked on in back I asked the mechanic who told me it was probably a leaf in the fan and it would work itself out over time. It didn't. I figured I was just stuck with the noise.
Back to the present. When I took my car in I told the service person about the fan squeal. He said he would look into it. I received a call Friday night that they weren't able to get everything done that day and would need to have it until Monday. A loaner car was offered to me. I didn't need it and thanked him for the offer. He then said that he didn't work the weekend but if I had any questions to call and he would get back to me over the weekend. On Monday my car was ready to pick up. The LCA were replaced. The heater fan was replaced at no charge and is quiet. Yea! Also, I had pointed out some black spots on the front of the car that I wasn't sure what they were. They were smooth and continuous with the paint surface. Turns out they were from rubber hitting the car (on the freeway presumed) and he had them buffed out at no charge to me.
My experience was amazing. My service person was polite, extremely helpful, courteous. He went over and above to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction and convenience. I will be using this dealership for my work and referring others to them.
The dealership is Ford of Kirkland in the Seattle area. My service person was Danny.
