I drove both also a few times and I have to say you sound like a crazy person with no taste.

And for anyone else that thinks a Mustang is better than a Camaro on paper, you're wrong. Unless you're talking bone stock, but put a good amount of $$$ into both cars and you'll soon figure out which is the better performance car. HPE650 out performs the Shelby Super Snake in nearly every category, and those are proven facts, not my opinion. But to each their own. I enjoy knowing that I'm dumping money into a car that will hold up and destroy the competition.
Check out that video, pretttttyy cooooool guy.
No need to flame me over wanting a Camaro. I've been through hell with Ford and I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I like the body of the Mustang better than the Camaro, but i'm all about performance. People don't have to see eye to eye on cars, we'd all be driving the same cars if that were the case.

I respect the Camaro but mostly because it drives Ford to make the Mustang a better car.
But you are taking about a platform from which to build on. And once you start that argument it gets even more subjective.
You sound like an uninformed mustang fanboy. I own a Mustang, my Dad owns a Camaro. I'd say I would know better than you considering I can drive either as I please. Oh wait, no I can't, cause my piece of **** Mustang has been at the dealership for the past six days.

I think it has to do with who installs the carpet. My 04 Mach 1 had carpet so long it would peel down! Go figure. This thread brought back the memory of me placing strips of Velcro to keep it in place. Seriously, I really got under the car for that pic... Never noticed or even checked until this thread.
Hey just let me know I get a $100.00 referral spiff on your new purchase!!

did i mention my first tech job was at a Chevy Dealer??
i trained on GM's first onboard system c3 and CCC
Chevy's are great cars if you are a tech, keeps you in the money because you are always working
People who buy these cars buy them for fun and performance not because the carpet doesnt go high enough on the floor. I promise you that a mustang will outlast a camaro in every single case. The camaro might have more emphasis on the interior quality but 100k down the road when you are dropping money on a new motor with a camaro then your least concern will be how high the carpet is. No car is without its faults I have driven both and the mustang wins hands down. The camaro feels like your driving a brick that you cant see out of.
