This is my first post on this forum and i'm very excited to have found it. What an amazing mustang community we have here!

I'm hoping for some help, my 2014 grabber blue mustang has developed an issue, about 1 month after purchasing it. It is certified pre owned, full warranty and has 35,000 miles.

It looks as though the plastic on the black part of the trunk has started to peel. The plastic panel between the two tail lights. Seems to run along the bottom and around the emblem. I have attached the images. Has any body experienced this and if so, how did you get it fixed?

I took the car to ford tonight who said they will put in a request for replacement under warranty but this request is subject to approval so they will let me know tomorrow the outcome. This worries me. Surely this is a warranty issue?

any input would be great!

Should be covered under warrant...my daughter had the same issue on her pre owned and Ford certified 13. It was replaced under warranty no issues.

 

Same thing started happening to mine, it was starting to peel in the center above the emblem. I had it replaced under warranty without any issue.
