Question Factory Warranty Question

I have a 2014 Ford Mustang with a Factory extended 6 yr 75000 mile warranty. Can I put a Cold Air Intake on it without voiding the warranty.

If it requires a tune, that could void the warranty. Ford got a lil' mean regarding tunes after the 5.0L went in and had those #8 issues.

If it does not, the gains aren't all that much likely, so it's a question of why do it, but that shouldn't void the warranty.

Bottom line, though, is this: If you even THINK it's going to void the warranty, and you want that warranty, then why are you doing it? CAN you afford to have the car fixed out of warranty? No? Then you probably shouldn't be chancing it just yet.

My $.02 on it.

I don't think it's worth the minuscule horsepower and probably the no gain in torque you will see.

IMHO
