Dashboard/airbag repair

Hello!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I imported my 2013 v6 to Europe from a salvage auction (IAAI).
It had both airbags deployed (driver and passenger side). I noticed that during passenger side airbag deployment, it damaged the dash.
I have removed the airbag again, welded the broken plastic and mounted it back, but it still has a gap between airbag and the dash.

Any idea how to repair it? Should I heat it up and try to shape it back again or replacement is the only way?

Perhaps an Overlay Kit Strategically Placed Would Do the Trick. Does Not Look That Bad in Pics To Me. Actually Being in Car Sitting There May Tell a Different Story.
