Cylinder head temperature safe range?

Hello fellow Mustang owners,

I live in one of the hottest countries. My 2013 GT usually sits at 230f, but sometimes shoots up to 235, stays there for a bit and goes back to 230.

At stand still, it's down to around 220f.

Inlet air is usually 120f and above.

I've recently changed the water pump, thermostat, cleaned the radiator and changed the cap.

Any help is appreciated as I can't find the safe range.

Welcome,

Might as Well Get The Best Radiator You Can Find Which is Designed For Extreme Temperatures!

Here is One Example!

https://www.shelbystore.com/product-...35-epr001b.htm

KC
Applications:
  • Shelby GT350 (2011-2014)
  • Mustang GT 5.0L (2011-2014)
  • Boss 302 (2012-2013)
  • Mustang GT 4.6L (2005-2010)
Notes: Modification of fasteners and fascia may be required. Picture used from stock. May not be exact but is similar to what is used on the cars listed above.

Developed by Shelby for the GT350 program, this extreme duty cooling radiator [can reduce engine and cylinder head temperatures by up to 50 degrees] in spirited driving conditions.
