Crack in my Glass Roof on day of delivery

Bout a 4" crack that diagonals the front passenger corner of the roof. Dealer said to bring the car in tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what happens....

Coulda happened on the delivery truck, on install, or somewhere else.

Any reps from Ford reading can contact me by PM and we can exchange phone numbers...

Jason, My 2010 picked up a rock witin the 1st month I owned it right at the frt edge, of course it got warm and started to crack. I had the glass company install a rubber edge trim molding on that front edge cause I was afraid it would happen again. Look at the edge from the side it sticks up ever so slightly above windshield leaving the front edge exposed a $2 piece of window trim like used on the windshield could save you at least your deductable latter!

Thanks man, I'll remember this if I pick up a rock.

From my visual inspection the crack is very difficult to see from outside the car because it is located in the tinted area. From the inside it is visible if you are looking for it.

It also appears to be a deep crack, and not one that was formed on the surface from an impact.

Gah... that's something you don't want to hear. I hope it's fixed quickly...

Hey- when they take the panel off, ask them if you can take the car for a spin with the roof open. You'd be the only guy with a Mustang Targa (kinda)...

Look in his other thread. There's a pic where you can see the crack in the top right corner of the GR.

I tried finding it in his deliver/pic thread, but I must be blind.

Had to see the image in it's original size in order to see that beautiful crack, looks like it's part of the tree branches.
