Did you pay anything for replacing the lca? Labor charges etc? Or was it completely free of charge under warranty ?

LCA ---

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but the mention of the LCA got me wondering. My 2012 GT has about 9K miles on it. I've notice it seems a bit squirly at low speeds on uneven pavement. Like there's a lot more tramlining going on than I would expect. My Corvette had wider tires and it didn't tramline nearly as bad as the GT. So, would a loose lower control arm cause that. The best way to describe it is kind of like the front end seems light and it kind of wandering around when it should be going in a straight line. Thanks for any info.

Hey Michael Broadway,

Please, make an appointment with your dealer as soon as possible. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Did they both break? They wouldn't do the one that wasn't broken for me. Even though they admitted they has better ones now. Which is what I have on the right side

There are three different revisions on the front LCAs that Ford manufactured. I know because I've had all three put in my car.

TSB 12-8-24 Replace LCAs and Hardware

CR3Z*3078
CR3Z*3079

Those are the two part numbers, the revisions are noted with either A, B or C, C being the most recent.

Example: *CR3Z*3078*C

The above example is the current revision of the left front LCA. It's listed as "Arm Assy - Front Suspension"

My issues did not get resolved until after BOTH LCAs were replaced with the C revisions. With the new LCAs my Ford dealer also replaced four bolts and three nuts.

*W710141*S439 - Bolt
*W709865*S439 - Bolt
*W710909*S439 - Bolt
*W711123*S439 - Bolt
*W520215*S440 - Nut (Hex)
*W520214*S440 - Nut
*W713882*S437 - Nut

They DID NOT do this (replace bolts and nuts) until the C revision came out. This is a TSB, you should have no problem getting a dealer to do this repair if your vehicle qualifies.
