Your cylinder #12 is going to explode.

On a serious note. The new mustangs are super noisy. A lot of what people hear are normal sounds. In a rare instance, there is something wrong with the car.

video tape it. How cold is it where you are, even warmed up it can make a knocking noise, which is worse when you take off the sound deadening on the heads.

If you just bought it, take it back to the dealer and have them take care of it for you - easiest solution that costs you nothing but some time.

I have the same issue going on as you and it drives me nuts. I can't get it fixed at the dealer because they can never duplicate it. I have a v6 not a gt but both cars share a lot of parts like the rearend and the transmissions are the same. I have an auto and think that if its not a body part or exhaust rattle its coming from inside the transmission. Its most noticable at light throttle for me. But the dealer will just blow you off if they can't duplicate it which sucks.

Hi guys,

I’d like to get this escalated to the customer service manager of your area. Please, make an appointment with your Ford dealer as soon as possible for diagnosis. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can help.

I too! also have same noise in my 2014, V6 auto'. To me it sounds just like a Universal joint. But it is not the u-joint. I just hit 24,000kms on my car. Had it in for its third oil change every 8k. 2nd and third time I had it in, I brought it to service guys attention to check it out. They told me they can't find anything wrong. Hmmm? Funny too. previously to my 2014 purchase, I test drove a 2011 V6, auto'. Roush model. and it too. same thing. At low speed driving through a parking lot slowly or slowing down for a stop light, sign, or what ever, It's a extremely noticable knock like a bad u-joint. the 2011 i drove had 30'000kms on it. And it was a loud knock. I've been babying my car since new. I've never put the pedal down like i did with my late 80's 5 liter beaters. I'm worried now that my car too, will sound like to 2011 i test drove. I hope this can get resolved by FORD. It is clearly an issue to me from other forums I've read. I'm almost at that 30'000 mark.
