2014 MUSTANG Got convertible drain hole cleared, here's how
 

Hey all, since I got my 14 the right rear quarter kept filling with water. I took the 1-¼" shop vac hose to it and got some loose debris from both sides fortunately the left doesn't have that issue. So after hard rains the past 2 days it filled again. So sucked out existing water. Then put my garden hose in on jet setting. filled it with a 1-½ gallons of water and when I looked in the water was brown so knew I stirred up some gunk the vac water was really brown. Did 2nd suction and water was more clear also noticed the water was really starting to drain under the rocker. Did a 3rd & 4th shot with hose and it just drain right out with no issue. Here's some pics if that helps you including the drivers side cowl drain I did 2 weeks ago which was plugged with debris! I found a youtube video where you can just pull that out from engine bay and clean out and reinsert.

Glad you found a YouTube video on how to check for the drain plugs in the engine bay... There are also previous thread submissions that have been posted about this issue as well... Just search the subforums by selecting the search function menu located above on the home page... When the drop-down box displays, type in clogged drain plugs/water leaks... You should then come across a list of previous thread submissions that are directly related to the water leak/clogged drain plug issues... In the meantime, thanks for sharing your solution for resolving the clogged drain plug issues and welcome aboard.

I did find a couple of the threads but didn't recall anyone trying the garden house to loosen the debris up thats why i wanted to share.

Helpful post for those with these issues. Good job too,, however it is a tough thing to see how neglected these rides can become. :puke:
